Aarhus University’s International Academic Staff Services (IAS) is offering ‘Danish Living Crash Courses’ for International staff and partners on 20 February and 26 March 2020. Learning more about Danish culture and the Danes can make it a lot easier to adapt to working life at AU and daily life in Denmark.

AU invites all PhD students to apply for this year’s Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition on 17 March 2020 in Stakladen. The AU winner will receive a DKK 35,000 travel grant, and the chance to participate in the international competition for more than 35 European universities in June 2020 in France. Deadline for applying is 2 February 2020.

Ph.d. Cup is a competition in communicating science to the general public for Danish-speaking PhD students, who have finished their PhD and received the approval in 2019. The main prize is DKK 30,000 and the change to present your research from the stage of DR Koncerthus in front a national audience. Deadline for registration is 31 January 2020.
