The menu to the left links to important information on various aspects related to your PhD studies at the GSTS. To make it easier for you, we have listed the most commonly used pages below.

If you have questions during your PhD studies, please don’t hesitate to contact your PhD partner at the Nat-Tech PhD administration.

According to the Ministerial Order, a PhD degree programme should contain the following items, which the student is required to complete in order to obtain a PhD degree:

Conduct independent research work under supervision (the PhD project).
Complete PhD courses or similar subject elements totalling minimum 28 and maximum 31 ECTS credits.
Participate in active research environments, including stays at other, mainly foreign, research institutions, private research enterprises etc.
Gain experience of teaching activities or some other form of knowledge dissemination related to the PhD project.
Complete a PhD dissertation on the basis of the PhD project.
