PhD students and other early‑career researchers can now nominate their research environment for the Danish Young Academy’s Research Environment of the Year 2026 award — and win DKK 10,000 to support a social or academic event in your group.

The award highlights research environments that provide strong support for young researchers through good supervision, feedback, collaboration, creativity, and a healthy academic community. All types of environments can be nominated, from informal networks to research groups and interdisciplinary clusters.

Your nomination should briefly describe:

  • your research environment and what you work on
  • why your environment deserves the award
  • how the environment supports your research, development, and career opportunities
  • concrete examples of initiatives that strengthen creativity, collaboration, and well‑being

Deadline: 27 March 2026
Award ceremony: 29 May 2026
