Niels Bohr Quantum Summer School

Join a summer school program for PhD students, where cutting-edge research meets real-world innovation. The program welcomes both Danish and international PhD students providing a unique international perspective.

Are you a Ph. D student interested in learning more about quantum technologies? Dive into topics like quantum information, quantum competing theory, quantum systems, and quantum & AI.

From 11-22 August, 2025, the summer school will bring together Danish and international Ph.D. students in physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science and similar fields with an interest in learning more about quantum technologies. The students will dive into topics like quantum information, quantum computing theory, quantum systems and quantum and AI. The programme will also feature laureates’ sessions, allowing the students to engage in discussions across generations. The teaching methods combine lectures, case-based learning, and hands-on lab work to provide a dynamic and immersive learning experience, and the students will benefit greatly from an exceptional team of dedicated faculty members all with extensive experience and strong expertise in quantum research.

Who can attend?

Students pursuing a Ph.D. in physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science, or related fields, who already have some foundational knowledge of quantum mechanics and wish to deepen their understanding.

Note that a high proficiency in English is required.

Application deadline is 3 March 2025.
