Digital Twin Engineering with an Application to an Incubator

During his PhD studies, Hao Feng’s research focuses on Digital Twins(DTs) which is a promising artifact for industry 4.0. In order to better study a DT, he produced a simple DT case study called the incubator. Based on this DT, he gave a framework for engineering a DT. During the development process of the DT, he also devises methods to mitigate issues such as state drift problem. In addition, he also worked on an orthogonal constraint for a neural network to improve neural networks performance, that also can be used for state estimation for a DT.  

The PhD study was completed at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Aarhus University.
